2011 ENCHANTED CIRCLE EMS SCHOLARSHIP
Goal of the Enchanted Circle EMS
Scholarship:
To provide financial support to members of the community in the Enchanted Circle
who wish to pursue or advance an EMS career
with an EMS agency in the Enchanted Circle.
Qualifications:
Must have the support of an Enchanted Circle EMS pre hospital agency.
Eligible applicants must plan to attend a State approved EMS program such as:
EMS First Responder, EMT Basic, EMT
Intermediate, Paramedic or Instructor/Coordinator program.
Guidelines:
Applicants must submit on their application an essay explaining why they wish to
pursue an
EMS career or to further their
training.
A letter of recommendation is required from your supporting EMS agency.
Scholarship Awards:
Selection of recipients will be made without discrimination as to race, age,
sex, creed, or national origin
. Awards will be based on merit and need. Awards shall be made payable to an agency in the
name of the scholarship recipient.
If the recipient does not complete the program, at the discretion of the
Enchanted Circle EMS Association,
he or she may be required to return the
award so that it may be allocated to another applicant.
